"Embrace the grind..."

I have said that motto to many people over the years. In fact, when Alex and I first decided to start this company and start making games, I told him to embrace. It's a challenge to anyone trying to create something for a living, and one that has to be faced head on. 

An old, old friend and awesome creator named Emerican Johnson recently sat down with me for a show he does called "Long Way Up." We talk a lot about getting into the business, "embracing the grind...", and learning a few things the hard way.

This was a blast, by the way. Essentially what you're about to listen to is two friends who, because of our mutual careers, have not had the chance to really sit down and talk in a long while. So there is a portion of this show (and much more that didn't make it into the final edit) of just us catching up. Stick with it, though. It gets good.
