Law Enforcement Officer
From the trunk of her car she gathers her gear. The leather creaks as she drags the long jacket from her shoulders. She dons the armor, Federal Agent emblazoned in gold on her chest and back in stark contrast to the black. She settles the helmet on her head and the heads up display springs to life. The information on display is almost frantic. She has been trained to function and let it all wash over her mind. Geared up, she presses the stock of the shotgun into her shoulder and approaches the door from across the street. Her man was inside. And the dirt bag was going down. Alive, or dead.
The L.E.O. is the law, king of the urban jungle, hunter of the wasted plains, making their nickname apropos. A force unto him- or herself, sworn to protect and serve. Low-level corporate security kneel before the Leo. And if they don't, they ought to. Because one way or another they'll be on their knees. Leo's are the backbone of order, the cornerstone of the law, the last gasp of a neutered federal government trying to hang onto some executive authority and thus, are trusted with extraordinary powers. They hunt down fugitives, protect government informants and investigate corporations suspected of anything. When the whistle blows, a Leo answers the call. In IDENTECO, the L.E.O. uses their highly developed investigation and social skills to track and apprehend their target. Whether through guile and charisma or fear and intimidation, they use skills more than their blaster to get the job done. The LEO can take on many forms based on where a player choose to start their character. For instance, if they choose Corp, the player may be a U.S. Marshal or local cop. If they're a Fringer they may be a U.S. Marshall or part of the local city police force. If they choose Grounder, they may be a bounty hunter, or local sheriff in the badlands towns. |
